Chery Greece Honored at the Chery International Business Summit
- Chery Greece, a member of the Spanos Group, was awarded the Best Rising Star Award in recognition of its rapid establishment in the Greek market and its contribution to the company’s overall growth.
- Three additional distinctions were also secured, acknowledging achievements in network development; hybrid model sales featuring CSH technology; and the market share attained by Chery Greece within a notably short period.
Held in parallel with the Auto China 2026 at the end of April, the Chery International Business Summit 2026 took place at the company’s headquarters in Wuhu. With the entire city dressed in Chery’s colours, more than 3,500 partners, journalists and influencers gathered to take part in a wide range of immersive activities, conferences and test drives, gaining deeper insight into both the current positioning and the future direction of the brand.
As part of the event program, Chery International honored its top importers and distributors worldwide, among which Chery Greece, a member of the Spanos Group, was prominently included. The official importer of Chery vehicles in Greece received four awards, recognizing in the most compelling way its strong performance in the local market within less than a year of operation.
The awards were accepted by Giorgos Spanos, CEO of Spanos Group, and Alexis Galanopoulos, the company’s Public Relations Manager. Commenting on the distinction, Mr. Spanos stated: “We are extremely pleased with these awards, which represent the highest recognition of our efforts. I would like to sincerely thank my colleagues, as well as the Greek public, which has embraced the brand from the very beginning.”
Meanwhile, Mr Galanopoulos had the opportunity to present the company’s achievements to the global audience at the Chery Global Dealer Conference, highlighting sales performance, distinctions, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
